Period
Wartime family drama
In January 2025, I became involved with this short drama, in the capacity as Historical Advisor/Consultant - answering questions on accurate attitudes, costume, props, set decoration and a number of period queries.

I advised on what a middle class London family would have in their flat, helped go through contents of an evacuee's suitcase and helped flesh-out historically sound backstories for the mother and son characters.

I also helped design and create several letters, governmental pamphlets and evacuation ephemera for set dressing - addressing everything to a real flat that would have been around in 1939 - Barkham Terrace in Southwark.
I further provided accurate replica toiletries and other props for the suitcase, along with a period picture frame with an image of myself in First World War uniform - as 'the father'.

Aside the suitcase fillers and the framed photograph, none of the other graphic props were used by production, but are still shown here.
