Written and directed by myself, 'Five Across' is an exploration of the nature of human interaction, set in the dying days of steam travel in Britain.

The film required not only the location of period-appropriate locomotive and rolling stock, and the designing of a set for an existing train compartment, but also the obtaining of accurate props for the late 1960s.

This meant sourcing a whole host of items including newspapers, tickets, books, and luggage.
